Bariatric Surgery Gone Wrong
Mom is having major problems from the gastric bypass?
My mom had bariatric surgery on April 20, 2004. She looks great and even about a year ago was very good. All OLD health problems are gone, but now has several new but do not know what they are … She has a problem with the pancreas, so they think. They are still there for surgery and do not know what they're for and just try of repair. It's a sharp pain ALL THE TIME! She is litterly having contractions because it feels like something is closing. It is sent to the Mayo Clinic since it is so bad. What do we expect? Anyone had these problems … She had already removed the gallbladder.
liver disease, ie, NASH, hepatitis C? diabetes? I might add here that sometimes when they do the surgery if there is any previous surgery and tissue scar because of it, may be making the problem worse. sometimes what helps is the elimination of the band. 2 months after Gastric Bypass Surgery.. Wow the changes
Since i had gastric bypass surgery i vomit every day. Had surgery by Robert Marema at celebration hospital kissimmee fl. who now practices at flagler hospital and doctor use to be sand lake hospital now doctor phillips hospital. I had all kind of tests done cant stop vomiting doctor Marema was suppose to be the original inventor of this surgery, received no help from his staff or follow up for vomiting told me to see urologist seen 6 no help anyone out their have same problem, could be in the esaphagus or throat bateria etc. no stricture also doctor Marama makes you purchase his own vitamins never tells you he owns the vitamin co. and you have to purchase his product you dont others sell it. also a lot off side effects from operation like kidney stones etc. never told about these conditions, by celebration hospital is a part of Florida hospital, needed to have surgery done because of health reasons or would never had done it. lived in Florida for 33 years good honest doctors are rare here or is only this state? beware out their. help
