How to cope with the symptoms of iron deficiency anemia?
I underwent bariatric surgery last June. Recently I've been experiencing all the symptoms of anemia. I just had a physical exam and blood tests and am awaiting the results. Without But I am soooooo exhausted, and feeling cognitively as I am struggling to concentrate even in the smaller tasks. I'm dizzy and weak. I have cold hands, feet daily. And now headaches. I read about the disease and suggested treatments. However, I just want to stop these symptoms. I feel very bad. Any good ideas to help manage daily symptoms, and maintain, work, family routines. Ugh … This sucks.
If the same problem, in my case 1 years after bariatric surgery, energy drinks I used to help in the last hours (I study at noon). I can take more vitamins. But in fact, until the doctor gave me injections of B-12 and iron for 10 days and change my vitamins to liquid (easier to absolve) the symptoms are not better. Take calmly when the doctor will evaluate you and gave all treatment will be better. Good luck
