Lap Band / Gastric Bypass Surgery – How to avoid starvation mode?
If you're like me and have been trying to lose weight, then you've heard of "starvation mode", but what I asked was for those who have the lap band surgery or gastric bypass and therefore lose huge amounts of weight, how to avoid or overcome starvation mode your body, obviously, must pass through considering how little can eat, especially in the first few weeks …. I love to hear from people who have had the surgery!
I'm most likely going to get some thumb down on this, but three years ago, I fasted on water only for 42 days and my metabolism is faster than it was before. Fasting Before, I could eat 1800 chemical and gain about 0.2 pounds per day. Leaving the fast which I have yet to win any of the 56 pounds back and I'm able to eat 2,200 calories a day earning nothing. Believe me, "starvation mode" is a myth. If you do not take care of yourself, you might develop thyroid problems and, in turn, slow your metabolism, but not in healthy eating, no matter how low is your calorie intake. Good luck <3
