Return undergo gastric banding or surgery?
In the past seven months I have gained over 80 pounds, because a medical condition. The condtion is now under control, but the weight has remained. My doctor has suggested looking at the lap band procedure or gastric by pass surgery, but has not been useful for him or reseaching referneces giving doctors. I live in New York and during the illness that was taken care of, I have not worked in a while and I'm in New York State Medicaid Univera health insurance plan. Does anybody know anything about the two or surgerys these? or medical coverage to them. thank you very much
I have the band back when I was investigating and I liked the fact that it was adjustable. Also look at the mortality rate for each surgery and the rate of complications of it, that's the way I chose
