The olive oil used to be bad for you. It is now a "good fat". Now, "fasting" within reasonable limits, may actually be good for you … every time you turn around there is a new study on what is good for you or not …. There diet cards, wheels, calendars, and software, is deceptively easy getting lost in the cloud of opinions and data.

What we know is. There are only two ways to lose weight: A solution is to eat less (Consume fewer calories) and the other is by increasing energy expenditure (using more calories).

Sounds simple right? And it should be. Unfortunately, most plans do what seems a simple concept into a nightmare of planning, counting, sorting, packing and denial.

You start the program, confused, or tired of the rigid planning and fall off the wagon. Or, worse yet, you never get started: Having invested in a program foolproof.

OK, so here I'll catch hell from the experts for the promotion of fad diets, because they all know they are not good for you, you will never maintain the weight loss, blah blah .. Of course, morbid obesity is not very good for you either. I am certainly not an expert on diet or exercise, but I now know what works for me.

One morning Recently, I had trouble trying to one side of my zipper meet others, and was really disgusted with myself. I said "enough". I was determined to take action! So I fired immediately … computer. Hey, he beat go to the gym.

Guess what, there are a gazillion diets and exercise programs. Requiring a long way to count a lot, and preparation and packaging and … money. So I settled on a few basic parameters.

1. It should be cheap no food at high prices.
2. It should be easy, with minimal planning.
3. He had to fast results
4. It had to include trafficking.
5. It must have a maintenance program easy.
6. It has been satisfactory.
7. It would provide community support.
8. It was be transportable (take it and go).
9. It should be tasty.
10. It could involve a "cleansing" supplement.

The one type of plan that met our needs was a meal replacement "diet had a protein" high "deal alternatives base. But was not cheap and has no support from the community. But other criteria has been met so … we have started … Yes, a popular regime. We stayed rigidly to the plan for a week, even if the satisfaction of the party "was not close to true. 3. It helps you realize what you've been stuffing into your face. (Most of us eat stupidly)
4. It allows you to cut Fast food (usually not part of a diet)
5. It allows you to change what you've been stuffing in your face. (Or at least how many)
6. It allows you to clean the crap out of your pantry. (You do if you are caught in the moment)
7. It teaches you discipline. Most (some require "routine first week)
8. It is cheap! (Meal replacement bars are cheap compared to junk food, and purchase of dietary meals)
9. You know when you're cheating. (If you do not eat the bar, you're cheating, no rationalization)
10 You have a safety net to return to. (If you fall off the wagon, just start eating again bars)
11. It meets your desire for a treat. (Most people like sweets and require a substitute for dessert, as for the long-term success)
12. It is flexible. (Once you see success, you can substitute the same number of calories, low in fat "real meal".

Should I continue? Look, I'm here to help you do something. meal replacement plans are practical, relatively inexpensive short-term, and they work well enough to give you successful you need to motivate you.
