Hi I am from the uk im 17 I am a big girl and I am fed up suffer from depression and hate myself, the doctors sent me to different weight loss programs and stuff, but it never worked say that if I try it then start thinking about surgery, but I doubt they will, ive tryed asking parents and family if they could take out a loan so I could have the operation gastric banding and pay again as I work two jobs but cannot because of bad credit so I was wondering is there a place in the UK where u can pay for the surgery as the monthly payments, as it would be my only option i have left to reach the surgery to help and any other information you can me to be great and please no hate comments that as ive had enough of them in my life and thanks Im 5 foot 3 and im 21 stone 7 pounds to 300 pounds that's like?
Honey, you are too young to be considering this procedure. There are serious health consequences that can come from doing so. You do not say how big they are. banding procedures gastric only considered if the person is at least 100 pounds above their ideal. Also an ethical physician will not consider operating on you until you have your mental health in order. They do not want such life-changing decision unless you are doing a process of logical thought. I beg you to look for emotional first aid. If you start feeling better about yourself, may well start seeing the weight come out in a healthy way.
