Weight Loss Surgery United Health Care

If the surgical treatment of obesity is excluded in my policy, is there any way to UHC to pay?

I United Health Care Choice Plus and really want to have Lap-Band/weight loss surgery. I went to a seminar today and I looked at my policy and says that WLS is excluded. Is it worth appealing? Any suggestions on how I can pay? PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ME an answer like "go to the Gym" O "COME LESS. "ANSWERS TO QUESTION ONLY, PLEASE. And do not tell me not to do surgery. I'm not asking your opinion on the weight loss surgery and dieting. I need some advice regarding my insurance. Thank you.

Hello, My name is Dana and I had the gastric band 01.02.2006. Sure could not hurt to appeal appeal, they know that it might make an exception. If not, you can go to my doctor in Mexicali. They are fantastic! I paid with a cashier's check of approximately $ 8000 .. minus the price of a good used car. It helped with airfare, hotel put me in an impressive night before surgery .. I picked up at the airport in San Diego … took me to hospital .. all included! I spent two nights in the hospital. (Because they were from the U.S. .. is a bit far if there were any problems the request of Dr. .. we stayed two days before leaving.) They have experience .. they have been doing around the band since 1997! E-mail if you need any info @ rondana@comcast.net or you can contact me on "Myspace" @ www.myspace.com / also@www.bandgastricbypass.com drazey Dana Esperanza / you can find something better luck .. good with INS. Co., let me know how it goes .. Dana
